Inbis Unud Holds "Business Matching Indonesian Innovation Startup Incubation Program"

The pandemic situation has caused great difficulties for education, the economy, health and society in general, but we are still required to innovate and be creative. In a situation full of challenges, the pandemic provides many lessons for all. Must always be alert to uncertainty, mastery of science, technology and speed of innovation as prerequisites for being able to be strong and continue to grow. Every challenge faced by universities must be the epicenter of progress. Creating space for the growth of various innovations, start-ups, providing human resources and relevant science and technology capable of producing solutions and breakthroughs in solving the nation's problems.

Udayana University has and is currently running a downstream research program through the coordination of LPPM. Udayana University has a business incubator (Inbis) as a forum for accelerating the downstreaming of research results at Udayana University. A business incubator as a service center for tenants/MSMEs to develop their entrepreneurship to become a competitive entrepreneur. By conducting the “Business Matching Program for Startup Innovations in Indonesia”, it is hoped that it can become a place for tenants to meet stakeholders so that they can synergize and collaborate with each other. This activity was held at the Grand Mirah Boutique Hotel, Friday (1/10/2021).

The event began with remarks from the Head of the LPPM Business Incubator at Udayana University and continued with remarks as well as an official opening by the Chairperson of the LPPM Udayana University.

The speakers in this activity were representatives from the Bali Province Disperindag, Jamkrida Bali, BPD Bali, Shopee, PT. Sinar Mayuri, and PT. Padma Herbs. Meanwhile, the invitees who attended this event were the Denpasar Area Business Deputy, BRI Regional Office Representatives, JCI Bali Representatives, Denpasar HIPMI Representatives and other invitees.

The purpose of this activity is to facilitate the tenants of the LPPM Business Incubator at Udayana University who won the Indonesian Innovation Startup program grant from BRIN, to introduce tenant products in front of invitees who have attended to obtain costs, markets and technology. This activity also included an exhibition of tenant products.

The output of this program is that tenants can collaborate with good partners from Disperindang, Jamkrida, BPD Bali, Shopee, PT. Sinar Mayuri, and PT. Padma Herbs. Cooperation can also be done in terms of marketing and others.
