LP3M Udayana University Holds Socialization and Implementation of UIGM World University Rankings 2021 Data Filling

LP3M Udayana University held a Socialization and Implementation of UI Green Metric (UIGM) World University Rankings 2021 Data Filling which took place online through the Cisco Webex application, Friday (10/10/2021). Present at this socialization event were the Deans, Postgraduate Director, Head of Bureau, Head of Institution, Head of USDI, INBIS Coordinator, and the Entrepreneurship Development Unit.

This socialization activity was well received by the Rector of Udayana University who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, M.P., who in his speech said that this socialization event is an initial meeting of unit leaders who will map various activities at Udayana University that are in accordance with UI GreenMetric. Udayana University has a commitment to realize a Green Campus although there are still some things that are not perfect, but already has a strategy to fulfill various shortcomings.

LP3M Secretary Dr. I Nyoman Budiarsa,MT.,Ph.D as the speaker in this socialization said that the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings is a ranking of world-class universities initiated by UI in 2010, where through data collection, online surveys and rankings are carried out to measure campus sustainability efforts. The purpose and objective of this rating is as an assessment of the current condition of the Green Campus, which includes the use of electricity, energy, water, and transportation.

UIGM WUR measures the university's efforts to keep the environment green and sustainable. Data was collected through some information from the WEB, besides that, an online survey was also conducted which was filled out by university leaders as a source of information. Until 2020, 912 universities from 84 countries around the world have participated in this UIGM.
