Udayana University Establishes Cooperation with PT Agra Surya Energy
Udayana University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PT Agra Surya Energy in the Language Room of the Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus, Monday (14/6/2021). The signing ceremony was attended by the Rector of Udayana University, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Head of BAKH, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Engineering, Coordiment of Mechanical Engineering and Head of UP2M, Faculty of Engineering, while from PT Agra Surya Energy was attended by General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing.
Rector of Unud Prof. A.A Raka Sudewi in his speech said that the collaboration with PT Agra Surya Energy was an initiation from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering. This collaboration is an important thing in order to build and realize a green campus towards a smart campus at Udayana University. The parties are expected to be able to form cooperation in the field of renewable energy in the form of research and development. In the future, it is also very possible for Udayana University to be able to develop renewable energy such as solar power independently installed on the roof or campus gardens which is in line with Unud's development design. Through the collaboration, the Rector hopes that in the future, Uayana University can become a smart campus that integrates energy savings, easy access between faculties / study programs and a green campus.
Meanwhile, the Director of Sales and Marketing of PT Agra Surya Energy, Harvey Tjokro, expressed his appreciation for the collaboration with Udayana University. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that technology transfer will occur, and students can do internships and the operations of PT Agra Surya Energy in Eastern Indonesia can be supported by students of the Faculty of Engineering Unud. In addition, it is also hoped that the Parties can immediately realize the installation of clean energy.
