LP3M Unud Holds Socialization of Scientific Work Validation Process at Udayana University

LP3M Unud held a Socialization of Scientific Work Validation Process at Udayana University which took place online through the Cisco Webex application, Thursday (8/4/2021).

Chairperson of LP3M Prof. Ni Wayan Sri Suprapti conveyed that validation is a very important process for managing promotions and positions in fulfilling credit numbers and applicable procedures, so that in the future there will be no more problems in promotion. LP3M hopes that the cooperation and commitment and dedication of lecturers can be increased, so that the tasks assigned to LP3M can be carried out properly.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara appreciated the initiative of LP3M Unud in organizing this activity. The awareness to take care of promotion and lectureship positions at Udayana University is extraordinary, where in 2020 and 2021 many professors have been inaugurated. Given that there are so many documents to be validated, it is necessary to be guarded more intensely because the enthusiasm for taking care of them is very large.

Promotion is not an obligation but a necessity, because if it is too late it can be a finding of the Inspectorate. Existing teams at the faculty and university levels must be optimized and have the same perception. The validation process in the future must be more efficient in terms of time and human resources required, the validation process must also be carried out based on information and communication technology as well as synchronization of an integrated validation system. University leaders have said that in the future Udayana University must be a legal entity and everything will change massively, so let's prepare ourselves for that.
