Udayana University Senate Determines Five Candidates for the Rector of Udayana University for the Period of 2021-2025

The Udayana University Senate Special Plenary Session in order to continue the stages of the Rector of Unud Candidate Election for the 2021-2025 Period took place online and offline, Wednesday (17/3/2021). The session has two main agendas, namely the Determination of the Rector Candidates and the Drawing of the Serial Number of the Candidates for the Rector of Udayana University for the Period of 2021-2025.

Chairman of the Senate, Prof. Dewa Ngurah Suprapta started the session by delivering directions from the Director General of Higher Education regarding the Election of Candidates for Rector which was followed by the submission of a report by the Rector Election Committee regarding the verification results of the registration documents for the Prospective Rector. There are six people who have registered as Candidates for Rector of Unud.

In accordance with the results of file verification submitted by the Head of the Rector of Unud Election Committee, Prof. I Gede Mahardika, there are five applicants who meet the requirements and one person who does not meet the requirements for managerial experience in accordance with the Permenristekdikti and Senate Regulations of Udayana University regarding the Election of Candidates for Rector.

As for the five Rector Candidates appointed by the Senate along with the Serial Number according to the results of the drawing, namely (1) Dr. dr. Bagus Komang Satriyasa, M.Repro from the Faculty of Medicine; (2) Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suarsana, M.Si from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; (3) Dr. I Wayan Budiasa, SP., MP from the Faculty of Agriculture; (4) Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng from the Faculty of Engineering; and (5) Prof. Dr. dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT (K) from the Faculty of Medicine.

The five nominees who have been determined will follow the next stage of the process of selecting the Candidates for the Rector of Udayana University for the 2021-2025 period.
