UNUD Receives PPID Benchmarking Visit from the General Secretariat of the DPR RI
Udayana University received a PPID benchmarking visit for the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, Thursday (25/2/2021). This visit was carried out in order to improve public information services within the General Secretariat of the DPR RI.
PPID of Udayana University is one of the Public Bodies that received the 2020 Informative Category Award from the Central Information Commission (KIP) of the Republic of Indonesia.
The PPID Team of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, led by the Head of Sub Division of Public Information Services Wiryawan Narendro Putro, was received by the Head of BAKH IGN Indra Kecapa as the PPID Team of Udayana University.
The Head of Sub Division of Public Information Services, General Secretariat General of the DPR RI, Wiryawan, gave his appreciation for the acceptance of the PPID Udayana Team. This visit aims to take a closer look at PPID management, and obtain input related to filling out the participation form in participating in the KIP Award, which previously received the title of a Self-Informative Public Agency, becoming an Informative Public Body in 2020.
Meanwhile, the Head of BAKH Udayana University IGN Indra Kecapa expressed his appreciation for the visit of the PPID Team of the DPR RI Secretariat General. The Head of BAKH also introduced the public information service system at Udayana University and displayed a video of the commitment of university leaders to public services at Udayana University. In addition, various strategies have been implemented to improve public information services to achieve the title of Informative Public Agency.
In addition to benchmarking at Unud, the Team also paid a visit to the Bali Provincial PPID which in 2020 also won the title of Informative Public Agency.
The results of the sharing from this visit will be implemented at the PPID Secretariat General of the DPR RI in order to improve the quality of public information services. This benchmarking is also expected to improve the performance of public information services and anticipate various challenges and improve information services at the DPR RI.
The meeting also held discussions regarding the leadership's commitment to PPID, management structure and the effectiveness of each PPID implementer.
