Supporting the Equalization of Administrative Positions to Functional and Improving Archives Management in Udayana University, the General Bureau held Archives Development Coordination Meeting
Jimbaran - The General Bureau of Udayana University held a Coordination Meeting for archiving guidance and drafting of an archival unit institutional design at Udayana University which took place online through the Unud Webex Application, Thursday (18/2/2021). The Coordination Meeting was attended by archivists and HR Coordinators along with Sub-Coordinators at Udayana University. The implementation of this activity was based on the background of equalizing administrative positions to functional positions at Udayana University, where most of the administrative positions were appointed to archivist functional positions.
Coordinator of TU, RT and HTL I Wayan Gayun Widharma said that the number of archivist human resources before the equalization was 16 people and after the equalization of positions amounted to 51 people. It was the policy at the university that administrative positions were equalized to be assigned duties as coordinator and sub-coordinator. The problems that exist are the map of archivist positions, archivist institutions, human resource management, career development, credit scores, SKP, remuneration and work programs for archivists and work units. As a follow-up to fostering archiving, a work program drafting team will be formed, an archiving institutional drafting team, coaching and other archival workshops at each level, socialization of credit score filling with sources from ANRI and the Ministry of Education and Culture, and proposals to form their own PAK team and form a network as a means of communication.
Institutionally, the scope of archiving at Udayana University is still relatively small, so it is limited in archive management. Through this Coordination Meeting, it is hoped that input from archivists in carrying out tasks in work units and suggestions can be facilitated.
