Prepare for Accreditation, Unud Hospital Holds Simulation Survey
Udayana University Hospital held the First Edition of the SNARS Accreditation Simulation Survey for the next three days, 27-29 May 2019. The accreditation simulation was attended by the Surveillance Team of Hospital Accreditation Commission (KARS) which is an independent hospital accreditation institution.
Director of Udayana University Hospital, Dr. dr. Dewa Putu Gde Purwa Samatra, Sp.S (K) in his speech said the simulation was a step to strengthen all preparations towards accreditation in the upcoming June 2019. "If our services will be less or not in accordance with the standards, please help us, so that we can make all improvements to undergo real accreditation next month," explained Dr. Purwa Samatra.
This is the first accreditation for Udayana University Hospital since obtaining an operational permition in September last year. Udayana University Hospital is one of 24 RSPTNs developed by Kemenristekdikti. In accordance with government regulations, the teaching hospital has a function as a place of education and research services, as well as integrated health services in the fields of medical education, dentistry, and other health education in a multiprofessional manner.
Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Wyasa Putra, SH., M.Hum hopes that the accreditation will run smoothly, so that it is able to meet various standards and requirements in carrying out its function as a teaching hospital. "In order to develop that function, the accreditation simulation is a very important and strategic activity," said Prof. Wyasa Putra. (dsk, ad)
