The Chancellor of Udayana University signed MoU with the Regent of East Kalimantan Mahakam Ulu Regency at Rectorate Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Tuesday (05/21/2019). This is the first step for Udayana University and Mahakam Ulu District Government to establish cooperation, especially in the context of improving the quality of education for Mahakam Ulu people who will continue their university education.
Mahakam Ulu Regent, Bonifasius Belawan Geh, S.H appreciated the collaboration with Udayana University. According to him this is fit with Mahakam Ulu District Government program to improve human resources and the quality of their education. "We thank Udayana University for accepting us well and collaborating to facilitate the education of our students," explained the Regent of Mahakam Ulu District.
Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Dr. A A. Raka Sudewi, Sp., S (K) hopes that this collaboration will be continue for both institutions, especially in the field of Tri Dharma of University. "Udayana University has various kinds of study programs opening the broadest door in human resource development and cooperation," said Prof. Raka Sudewi.
Udayana University has been collaborating with Regional Governments of Bali, the Government of Central Indonesia, and the Government of East Indonesia in developing education, health, joint research, and community service. This is a commitment of Udayana University in order to improve education services to the community. (dsk, ad)
