HISTORY SCIENCE DEPARTMENT LIFT A HISTORICAL VALUE OF BANJAR BELALUAN SADMERTHA
Dr. I Nyoman Wijaya, M. Hum., during a dialogue with the people of Banjar Belaluhan Sadmertha.
Denpasar – History Science Department held a community service in Banjar Belaluan Sadmertha. This community service is done as an embodiment form of History Science Department in the implementation of the Tri Dharma University. This activity is a routine activity carried out each semester by History Science Department. This event took place on October 12th, 2016, at 06.00 pm to 08.00 pm followed by all professors of History Science Department, Udayana University and 20 community representatives from Banjar Belaluan Sadmertha.
On this occasion, the public service of History Science Department is packed with dialogue between professors and society. Dr. I Nyoman Wijaya, M.Hum is the keynote speaker discussing about the chronology of the history of gait Banjar Belaluan Sadmertha in Bali which is famous for its traditional community that has spawned trained artists. The Banjar has now been split into two due to changes in system and mechanism for the association as a result of globalization.
"Knowledge of the historical values is deemed important to be known by the public so that people will understand their history, community service not only have voluntary work or cleaning but can also be done by sharing knowledge and learning in the community and a lot of problems that could be solved through community service dialogue yesterday," he added.
