Accounting Undergraduate Study Program FEB Unud Organizes Student Achievement Training Activities
The selection of outstanding students has been started since 1986 which in its implementation experienced ups and downs including changing names or terms. The use of the term Student Achievement (Mawapres) election began in 2004 and since that year it has been held every year with continuously improving quality. The election of Mawapres is considered to have had a positive impact on the culture of achievement, respecting the achievements and work of students in universities which can elevate the dignity of students and universities, so that it can be adopted as a system for fostering achievement in universities.
The Outstanding Student Training Activity for the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program (PSSA) FEB Unud was held on Friday, February 25, 2022, 12.00 – 18.00 in the BM Building Hall, Floor IV. The activity was opened by the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Dr. Eka Ardhani Sisdyani, SE., M.Com., Ak., attended by 53 students of PSSA Class 2019, 2020 and 2021, who were also accompanied by supervisors.
There are two resource persons who have shared scientific writing materials, improving soft skills, including time management, team work, and public speaking; and share experiences in participating in mawapres and its impact on the next life. The resource persons were: Luh Ayu Meliani (Accounting OS of PT Smart Advisory Solutions), and Putu Norma Astyari (Vice President of Talent Management & Organization Development, PT Indosat Ooredoo Tbk.). Participants were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity and excited not only to take part in the Pilmapres, but also motivated to bring this spirit into everyday life, including campus and community life.
