Increasing Competence in Handling "Hand Congenital Anomaly", FK Unud Invites Professors from the University of Indonesia

 

The Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a hybrid Visiting Professor which raised the topic "Medical Tourism/Innovation in Plastic Surgery and Hand Congenital Anomaly" with the main location in the Prof. Dr. I Goesti Ngoerah Gde Ngoerah Building. Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Denpasar (19/1/2024)

 

Followed by lecturers and students (residents) who attended online and offline, this guest lecture presented resource person Prof. Dr. Dr. Theddeus Octavianus Hari Prasetyono, Sp. B.P.R.E., Subsp.T. (K), who is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia. This guest lecture was held to provide insight and education about medical tourism, plastic surgery innovations and knowledge about Hand Congenital Anomaly.

 

This event was opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. Dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya Sp.OT (K)., who in his speech expressed his hope that the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and the University of Indonesia could collaborate to provide the best for the community and students through knowledge exchange.

 

"With the presence of Prof. Dr. dr. Theddeus Octavianus Hari Prasetyono, Sp. B.P.R.E., Subsp.T. (K)., hopefully this can trigger the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program to more often schedule Visiting Professors and lectures that build and add to "scientific knowledge in their field. So that in the future the relationship between the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and the University of Indonesia can collaborate to provide the best for the community and students by adding and exchanging knowledge gained from attending Visiting Professor and other Lectures," he said.
