Giving New Experiences to Students, Food Technology Study Program Conducts Industrial Visit Field Practicum
The Food Technology Study
Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University provides new
opportunities and experiences for students to carry out field practicums in the
HACCP Applications in the Food Industry subject, namely by making industrial
visits to PT. Aerofood Indonesia Denpasar Unit which was attended by all
students of the Food Technology Study Program Class of 2022 who were taking
lectures on the HACCP Applications in the Food Industry course.
This activity was accompanied by
the course lecturer, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah Kencana Putra, M.S., Ms.
Sayi Hatiningsih, S.TP., M.Sc. and Mrs. Putu Julyantika Nica Dewi, S.TP., M.TP.
which was received directly by the Human Capital Manager of PT Aerofood Unit
Denpasar and staff. In the industrial field visit practicum carried out,
students get factory tour experience, are given an explanation about the
company, company history, certification certificates held by the company such
as ISO, HACCP and others, company customers, types of orders from the company
and can directly see HACCP practices in industry. food, following the flow and
production procedures for food products used for inflight catering and being
able to analyze and compare HACCP learning obtained at lectures with those
applied directly to the Food Industry.

Putra, M.S. as the course coordinator would like to express his gratitude to PT
Aerofood Indonesia Unit Denpasar which continues to provide collaboration space
to improve the abilities of students at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology,
especially the Food Technology Study Program. After completing education, Food
Technology can be better prepared to enter and compete in the world of work and
industry.
