Food Technology Students Again Achieve International Achievement
Students of the Food
Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana
University, again achieved international achievements. The international
achievement came from the scientific poster competition "1st International
Competition Creativity and Innovation for Cardiovascular Health" which was
held by HMJ Anafarma Polkesta and was held on 31 October - 26 November 2023.
The team that succeeded
in achieving achievements in this event consisted of Jason Patrick Kenardi,
Alizza Zahira Prameswari, Ni Made Mutia Pradnyawangi, who are the Class of
2022, who won 2nd place in the Scientific Poster Competition in the Nutrition /
Functional Food category with the scientific poster idea, namely TESTEA (Cashew
Nut Testa Tea): Innovation of Waste Cashew Nut Testa under Dr. I Wayan Rai
Widarta, S.TP., M.Si. Apart from that, another team consisting of Arlin
Ramadhan Sutisna, Gabrielle Thasya Wangsaputri and Maria Rosary Mayaranti
Putri, who are the Class of 2021, succeeded in winning 3rd Place Most
Implemented Category in the same event and category as the poster idea, namely
"SMOIR Delight": Functional Ice Cream Through The Utilization of
Dragon Fruit Peel Puree and Soy Whey to Support Cardiovascular Health under the
guidance of I Gede Arie Mahendra Putra, S.TP., M.TP.
The achievements obtained
by 2 teams of students from the Food Technology Study Program add to the
achievements made by students in the Food Technology Study Program. One of the
student representatives, Jason Patrick Kenardi, said he was proud to have achieved
another achievement, especially this time at an international event. In the
future, he said he would continue to process and improve his abilities so that
in the future there would be more achievements that could be made and
contributed to Udayana University, especially the Food Technology Study Program,
Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
