Strengthening Internationalization: Postgraduate Program Unud in Collaboration with Gochar Educational and Welfare Society Organizes International Conference
Denpasar (11/27) - The International Conference, a collaborative effort between the Postgraduate Program of Udayana University (Unud), Sam Ratulangi University, and Gochar Educational and Welfare Society, India, along with several other universities and institutions, took place at the Auditorium of the Postgraduate Building, Udayana University. The event was attended by key figures such as the Rector of Udayana University, the Rector of Sam Ratulangi University, the President of Gochar Educational and Welfare Society, rectors from various universities in India, keynote speakers, and nearly a hundred participants. The three-day event focused on the theme "Natural Resource Management and Sustainability." Recognizing the significance of sustainability issues, the chosen theme aimed to broaden perspectives and stimulate discussions for future collaborative research development. Moreover, the conference featured the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Udayana University and several other participating universities.
In his opening remarks, the Director of Udayana University's Postgraduate Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Budiasa, SP., MP., IPU ASEAN Eng, expressed his appreciation for the international conference as a tangible implementation of previously established international collaborations. "I highly appreciate this conference as a manifestation of the collaboration between Udayana University and Gochar Educational and Welfare Society. Beyond enhancing our targeted international cooperation, the chosen theme is highly relevant for in-depth exploration at this moment," he stated. Prof. Budiasa added that he was confident the conference would bring together scientists, academics, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to find contemporary solutions in achieving shared goals to address future global challenges.
