FMIPA UNUD held an International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Computing (ICAMSAC) 20223

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences held an International Conference on Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Computing with the theme "Application of Mathematics and Computing in Multidisciplinary Research" on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023. This International Seminar was held in the Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus, Udayana University.

 

Dr. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya as chairman of the committee for this international seminar said that this seminar is a platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the latest innovations, current issues, trends and challenges faced in the fields of mathematics, statistics and computing. Next, Rector Udayana University which represented by Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D as Vice Dean for Students and Information Affairs of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in her opening speech said that this conference was a big milestone for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. She also expressed his gratitude to the researchers who were willing to attend and participate in this conference. She hopes that this seminar will become a communication forum and a place to exchange ideas in the fields of mathematics, statistics and computing. She also hopes that this forum can be useful in economic growth and social welfare.

 

This international conference presents speakers who are researchers from various universities in various countries, including Prof. Ismail Khalil (Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria) who presented on Cooperative Artificial Intelligence, Emery T. Goosens, PH.D. (Foresite Labs, USA) who presented on Deep Learning, Rezzy Eko Caraka, PH.D. (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea / BRIN Indonesia) who presented on Big Data, Muhammad Najib, PH.D. (Heriot-Watt University, UK) who presented on Game Theory, Remmy Zen, PH.D. (Max Planck Institute, Germany) who presented on Machine Learning, and Dr. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya (Udayana University, Indonesia) who presented on Character Identification. This international seminar was also attended by 99 researchers who will present the results of their research in parallel sessions at this international conference.
