EXPLORING THE POTENTIAL OF ASSISTED VILLAGES AS TOURIST VILLAGES, FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ORGANIZES INTERNATIONAL PKM

In order to encourage the potential of tourist villages to create stable and sustainable development, on 11/10, the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University carried out International Community Service (PkM) with the theme "Embracing Sustainable Tourism and Community Empowerment for Village Development of Kayuputih Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali" in one of the assisted villages of the Faculty of Economics and Business, namely Kayuputih Village, Buleleng.




This activity was chaired by Dr. Ni Nyoman Reni Suasih, S.IP., M.Si. This International PkM activity presented 3 speakers, namely Prof. Dr. I Made Wardana, S.E., M.P., who is a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. The second speaker was Mrs. Ni Made Gandhi Sanjiwani, S.Par., M.Sc., she came from Godevi and served as chief business officer.




And the last speaker was Mrs. Putu Suryani, S.S., as a functional Ady. Parekraf Associate Expert of the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office.




The three speakers presented material related to the development of the tourism sector, namely marketing strategies, the role of pokdarwis, to the advantages or potential that can be applied in Kayuputih Village. The Community Service in Kayuputih Village was attended by 61 participants consisting of 50 pokdarwis and villagers, and 11 students from the International Business Study Network (IBSN).
