UDAYANA UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE HELD A DEVOTION IN BATUKANDIK, NUSA PENIDA

In the welcoming networkThe 40th Veterinary Medicine Family Agency (BKKH) and the 26th Anniversary (HUT) of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) Udayana University (Unud) on Thursday (12/10), then FKH Unud performed a service by providing Oral Disease vaccinations and Nails (PMK) and outreach to residents of Batukandik Village, Nusa Penida.

In this service activity, Mr. Made Gata as the Batu Kandik village headmaster warmly welcomed the FKH UNUD service team. Batu Kandik Village was chosen,Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency, Bali Provinceas a location for devotion is not without reason. Dean of FKH UNUD, Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Si., said that Nusa Penida is a production place for genuine Balinese cattle, where cattle from outside the island cannot enter.

"We also know that the island of Bali is not affected by the FMD outbreak, especially on the island of Nusa Penida. Therefore, it is important to prevent this by carrying out outreach and vaccination against FMD. I hope that through this activity the information conveyed can be useful for the community that "raising Bali cattle in Batukandik village, Nusa Penida," said Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Sc.,

 

Socialization and vaccination are carried out simultaneously by dividing into two groups with the aim of achieving the vaccination target. Socialization and education regarding the importance of maintaining reproductive health in Bali cattle was delivered by Dr. Drh. I GNB Tri Laksana, M.Kes, and attended by Batukandik village breeders.

 

 

 

This socialization and vaccination activity was closed by distributing vitamin B complex to breeders. After carrying out their service, the FKH UNUD team got ready to pray at Goa Giri Putri Temple, and atPura Dalem Bungkut until 22.00 WITA.
