Luh Putu Ida Harini, S.Si, M.Sc won Udayana University TOP 10 best researcher & Community Service worker of 2023

Friday, September 29 2023, at the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building, Unud Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Udayana University held an academic ceremony for the 61st Anniversary of Udayana University. The academic ceremony, which is part of a series of events for the 61st anniversary, has the theme "Building Synergy to Create Achievement". This theme was deliberately raised because Udayana University is moving towards superior internationalization and global achievement. This theme itself means that togetherness needs to continue to be strengthened and synergy must be built between the Udayana University academic community, including leadership, academic staff, educational staff, educational laboratory staff and students in order to increase human resource competence, creating a superior Udayana University with global achievements.


At the peak of the 61st anniversary event, Luh Putu Ida Harini, S.Sc, M.Si, one of the FMIPA lecturers from the mathematics study program, received an award as one of the best researchers and servants in 2023 from the Chancellor of Udayana University at the LPPM PRIMARY LEAGUE (LULPPM ) 2023 in the category "Innovation Product Award, given to Inventors as Appreciation for Creating the Most and Most Productive Non-Commercialized Innovation Products, Recorded in INBIS LPPM Data in the last 3 years". Ida, as this mathematics lecturer is familiarly known, was born on February 10 1980 in Bangli. He completed an undergraduate program at the Department of Mathematics, UGM in 2003 and completed a master's degree at the same university in 2011, studying analytical mathematics, focusing specifically on Integral Theory and Real Analysis.


Apart from teaching, Luh Putu Ida Harini is actively involved in coaching activities for mathematics olympiads and other activities related to mathematics learning. Since childhood he wanted to be a good problem solver, not only for complex mathematical problems, but also for problems in the real world. He implements this desire through research activities and community service which are used as an opportunity to increase his knowledge and realize his hobby. This is proven by his involvement as one of the Inventors in the 2019 Technology-Based Beginner Entrepreneur program, Inventor in the 2021 Indonesian Innovation Start Up Program and his involvement as a creativepreneur coach for several service partners.


With the motto "Use Logic as a compass in your life and focus on IDA (Imajinasimu-Your Imagination, Dirimu-Yourself, and Alam Sekitarmu - the Nature Around You)", Ida said that innovation comes from a sense of caring, arises from the desire to find solutions and grows through synergy and collaboration. Meanwhile, logic is the golden bridge that connects imagination and reality, giving rise to unlimited creativity.
