Lecturer of Lab / Section of Law and Society FH UNUD participated in the International Conference of the Customary Law Teachers Association

Jakarta, FLUNUD.ac.id - The Customary Law Teachers Association (APHA) has organized a series of International Conference and Call for Paper activities which were attended by members of the Lab / Law and Society Section of FH UNUD: Prof. Dr. Anak Agung Istri Ari Atu Dewi, S.H., M.H., Dr. I Gusti Agung Mas Rwa Jayantiari, S.H., M.Kn and A.A. Istri Eka Krisna Yanti, S.H., M.H on August 6 - 8, 2023 which aims to equalize scientific perceptions in teaching customary law. The International Conference was held at the MPR RI Building and the Call for Paper at the Peninsula Hotel-Jakarta.

The activity began with the presentation of material by keynote speakers Dr. H. Bambang Soesatyo, S.E., S.H., MBA (Chairman of the MPR RI), H. Ahmad Sahroni, S.E., M.I.Kom (Deputy Chairman of Commission III DPR RI) and Prof. Dr. Moh. Mahfud, MD. S.H., S.U., M.I.P (Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security of the Republic of Indonesia) who delivered material on strengthening the recognition, respect and protection of the constitutional rights of indigenous peoples by encouraging the ratification of the Indigenous Peoples Bill. 

In addition to the keynote speakers, there were five other speakers:  Prof. Jennifer Clare Corrin, PhD, (University of Queensland Australia), Jacqueline Vel, PhD, (University of Leiden), Hanayo Hirai, PhD, (Oteman Gakuin University) Prof. Dr. Aminuddin Salle, S.H., M.H (Professor of Hasanuddin University) and Prof. Dr. Sulistyowati Irianto, MA (University of Indonesia) who delivered their material on the unity of indigenous peoples in various dimensions at Nusantara 4 Building of MPR RI, Jakarta.

After the delivery of material by keynote speakers and speakers, it was continued with a call for papers by participants in accordance with the subthemes that had been chosen. A series of International Conference and Call of Paper activities were closed with the APHA congress.
