Agroechotechnology Scientific Enthusiast Competition (ASEC) 2023 Agroecotechnology Student Association, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University

The ASEC 2023 activity takes the topic of Revitalizing the Existence of Organic Agriculture to Realize Sustainable and Sustainable Indonesian Agriculture. ASEC is a scientific competition event that presents 2 national competitions, namely National level Essay and Debate competitions for SMA/SMK/equivalent students throughout Indonesia. The ASEC event was held offline on Thursday, 27 July 2023 to Friday, 28 July 2023 Time 08.30 WITA - finished in Nusantara Room, Agrocomplex Building Floor IV, Sudirman Campus, Udayana University, and ASEC was opened by the Dean of the University's Faculty of Agriculture Udayana namely Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gede Ustriyana, M.M was accompanied by the Coordinator of the Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, namely Dr. Ida Ayu Putri Darmawati S.P, M.Sc.

There were participants who supported the implementation of our activities, namely in the essay competition as many as 7 teams and 2 individuals who came from SMK Negeri 1 Petang, SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Selatan. SMA Negeri 5 Denpasar, SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Selatan, and SMA Negeri 1 Kintamani. After that, an online selection was carried out to get finalists and 5 teams were obtained to become finalists who attended offline at Udayana University. The five finalists came from SMK Negeri 1 Petang, SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Selatan, and 3 teams from SMA Negeri 5 Denpasar. In the debate competition, the participants obtained were as many as 6 teams with details of one team consisting of 3 people. The participants in the debate came from St. Yoseph Denpasar Catholic Private High School, South Kuta 1 Public High School, Denpasar 1 Public High School, South Kuta 2 Public High School, and Denpasar 4 Public High School.

The event ended on the second day by handing over essay competition prizes in the form of trophies, winner's certificates and awarding of rotating trophies which were handed over by the Dean of FP and won 1st place. won by SMAN 4 Denpasar, Champion 2 Catholic Private High School Santo Yoseph Denpasar and champion 3 SMAN 1 Denpasar. The event was closed by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gede Ustriyana, M.M was accompanied by the Coordinator of the Agroecotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, namely Dr. Ida Ayu Putri Darmawati S.P, M.Sc.
