DOCTORAL PROMOTION SESSION NS. I MADE UDAYANA, S.H., S.ST., S.KEP., M.KES. MANAGEMENT DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAMME FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS UDAYANA UNIVERSITY
Students of the Management Doctoral Study Programme, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, on behalf of Ns. I Made Udayana, S.H., S.ST., S.Kep., and M.Kes., conducted a Doctoral Promotion Session and officially held a Doctoral Degree on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
The Doctoral Promotion Session was chaired by the Chairman of the Session, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Anom Purbawangsa, S.E., M.M., as the Coordinator of the Management Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.
Educational history of Promovendus Ns I, Made Udayana, S.H., S.ST., S.Kep., and M.Kes., namely, Graduated S1 Law from Ngurah Rai University in 2009. graduated from S1 Nursing Science at Wira Medika Bali Health College in 2013. Graduated as a professional at the Nursing Study Programme of the Wira Medika Bali College of Health Sciences in 2014. Graduated from the Master of Health Sciences, Public Health Science Study Programme, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University in 2017.
The title of the dissertation raised by the promovendus Ns. I Made Udayana, S.H., S.ST., S.Kep., and M.Kes., which was able to bring the promovendus to the Doctoral Degree, was "The Mediating Role of Psychological Empowerment and Organizational Commitment on the Effect of Transformational Leadership on Nurse Performance (Study at the Referral Hospital for Management of Certain Emerging Infectious Diseases in Bali)".
This study aims to analyze the mediating role of psychological empowerment and organizational commitment on the effect of transformational leadership on nurse performance in the isolation room of a referral hospital for the management of certain emerging infectious diseases in Bali.
The results showed that improving nurse performance can be done with transformational leadership through increasing organizational commitment and psychological empowerment. Organizational commitment has a stronger mediating role than psychological empowerment in the effect of transformational leadership on nurse performance.
This Doctoral Promotion Session took place at BH Building Floor 3.4 FEB Unud-Sudirman, where the Promoter of Promovendus was Prof. Dr. Wayan Gede Supartha, S.E., S.U., and the Co-Promoter I was Dr. Dra. I Gusti Ayu Manuati Dewi, M.A., and the Co-Promoter II was Prof. Dr. I Gede Riana, S.E., M.M. This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic guests as follows: Dr. Komang Ayu Mustriwati, SKp., MPH.; Dr. I Dewa Nyoman Usadha, S.E., M.M.; Dr. Ni Made Yudhaningsih, S.E., M.M.; and Dr. Drs. I Wayan Gde Sarmawa, M.M. Promovendus successfully passed the Doctoral Promotion Session by achieving a Very Satisfactory predicate.
