DOCTORAL PROMOTION SESSION I WAYAN JIARTANA, S.H., S.I.K., M.SI. MANAGEMENT SCIENCE DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAM FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS UDAYANA UNIVERSITY

Students of the Management Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University on behalf of I Wayan Jiartana, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., held a Doctoral Promotion Session and officially held a Doctoral Degree on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. The Doctoral Promotion Session was chaired by the Chairman of the Session, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Anom Purbawangsa, S.E, M.M. as the Coordinator of the Management Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.

 

 

The educational history of the Promovendus, I Wayan Jiartana, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., graduated from Widya Mataram University of Yogyakarta in 2002 and graduated from Puangrimaggalatung Sengkang College of Administration in 2012.

 

 

The title of the dissertation raised by Promovendus I Wayan Jiartana, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., which was able to bring promovendus to the Doctoral Degree, namely the Effect of Public Service Motivation on Sense of Community and Organizational Citizenship Behavior with Moderation of Swardharma Pacalang (Study on Bhabinkamtibnas Polda Bali).

 

 

This study aims to analyze the effect of public service motivation on sense of community and organizational citizenship behavior with moderation swadharma pacalang.

 

 

The results of the study enrich self determination theory and two factor theory that public service motivation significantly increases organizational citizenship behavior and sense of community. Sense of community has a significant impact on organizational citizenship behavior. On the other hand, sense of community mediates the partial complementary effect of public service motivation on organizational citizenship behavior. Other results show that swadharma pacalang does not moderate the effect of public service motivation on organizational citizenship behavior and sense of community.

 

 

This Doctoral Promotion Session was held offline / online at BH Building 3rd Floor, Room 3.4 Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, where the Promoter Promovendus was Prof. Dr. Gede Riana, S.E., M.M., and for Co-Promoter I was Dr. Ida Bagus Ketut Surya, S.E., M.M., and Co-Promoter II was Dr. I Made Artha Wibawa, S.E., M.M..

 

 

This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic guests including three of them from the alumni of the Doctoral Program in Management consisting of Dr. Ni Made Dwi Puspitawati, S.E., M.M., Dr. Made Nopy Diah Sundari, S.K.M., M.Kes., and Dr. I Gede Cahyadi Putra, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA,

 

and Bambang Yugo Pamungkas, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., who is the Police Commissioner where the promovendus works. Promovendus successfully passed the Doctoral Promotion Session with a Very Satisfactory predicate.
