Realizing Double Degree and Joint Research: Dean Swinborne, Prof. Alex Stojcevski, Visits the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University

Udayana University Faculty of Engineering received a visit from the Dean of the School of Science, Computing and Engineering Technologies, Prof. Alex Stojcevski, from Swinborne University of Technology, Hawthorn Australia on Friday, 16 June 2023 in the Dean's Meeting Room, the Dean's Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran Campus.

 

 

There are 2 areas of cooperation offered by prof. Alex namely in the field of Education includes; double degree, joint research, articulation pathways, joint project grants in education, summer internships while in the research sector includes joint PhD projects supervision, co-publication and joint project grants in the fields of energy, smart-grids, etc.

 

 

Prof. Linawati, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, at the meeting expressed great interest in these collaboration programs and really hoped that this international cooperation program could be realized soon. This inaugural meeting also involved Deputy Dean II Kadek Diana Harmayani, Ph.D., coordinators of related study programs who were also very enthusiastic about collaborating. The initiator of the meeting, Prof. Suprapta Winaya who is also the head of the New Renewable & Conversion Energy (NRCE) research group at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, stated that the plan for this collaboration could start this year because the previous meeting was held with Prof. Mehdi Seyedmahmoudian who is Director of Cooperation and Director of Siemens Swinburne Energy Transition Hub.
