The International Relations Study Program at Udayana University (Unud) and the Indonesian Christian University (UKI) are collaborating

Denpasar, the International Relations Study Program at Udayana University (Unud) and the Indonesian Christian University (UKI) entered into a collaboration which was signed on Wednesday, 14 June 2023. The signing of the collaboration was carried out by the UKI Fisipol Dean Dr. Verdinand Robertua, M. Soc. sc. and the Head of UKI HI Study Program Mr. Arthuur Jeverson Maya, S.Sos., M.A. with the Dean of FISIP Unud Mr. Dr. Drs. I Nengah Punia, M.Si and Head of International Relations Study Program, Udayana University, Mrs. Ni Wayan Rainy Priadarsini, S.S., M.Hub.Int. Simultaneously with this, the two parties held a Public Lecture "Implementation of Environmental Paradiplomacy of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in the Governor's Climate and Forest Task Force".

 

This Public Lecture took place in the Hall of the FISIP Building, Unud, Sudirman Campus. This Public Lecture was moderated by an HI Lecturer, namely Ms. Penny Kurnia Putri, S.Sos., M.A. The discussion in this Public Lecture focuses on the Governor's Climate and Forest Task Force movement related to its role in protecting the environment in East Kalimantan, besides that the movement is said to be a form of paradiplomacy which could be an example for other regions. Moreover, the East Kalimantan region which has a lot of forest land will become the new IKN (National Capital City).
