COMMUNITY SERVICE TO THE MANAGEMENT MASTER STUDY PROGRAM, FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS, UDAYANA UNIVERSITY
On Thursday, June 8, 2023, the Master of Management Study Program (PSMM), Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University carried out Community Service Activities in collaboration with International Business Studies (Germany), UPTD Ngurah Rai Forest Park and KUB Segara Guna Batu Lumbang, located in the Batu Lumbang Mangrove Ecotourism Area, Pemogan Village, South Denpasar District, with the theme "Preserving the Mangrove: Paving the Way for a Sustainable Green Economy".
The mangrove forest area in Ngurah Rai is an ecotourism area and a pilot site for replicating mangrove forest ecosystem rehabilitation models in other provinces in the country.
PkM activities in the form of maintaining mangrove areas in Bali by cleaning up plastic waste that is accessed using a canoe. Cleaning mangrove areas from plastic waste is expected to be able to improve the quality of mangrove forests on the coast, can also be used as a means of education, tourism, and strengthening green economy for the surrounding community and anticipating climate change.
This activity was attended by 60 participants from PSMM Students, IBSN Students, and FEB Unud Management Lecturers.
