Monitoring of Accreditation Evaluation of Veterinary Medicine Study Program by IAAHEH

Veterinary Medicine (FVM) of Udayana University received online monitoring and evaluation of the accreditation of veterinary study programs by the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (IAAHEH) (16/05/2023). The accreditation monitoring and evaluation activity was attended by the Dean, Deputy Deans, Coordinator of the Undergraduate Veterinary Medicine Study Program, Veterinary Profession Study Program, Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M), Research and Community Service Unit (UP2M), Information and Work Management Unit Sama (UPIKS) and the FVM Unud Accreditation Team. Meanwhile, as an assessor from IAAHEH, Prof. Dr. drh. Joko Prastowo, M.Si.

 

 

The activity began with remarks by the Dean of FVM, Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Si, who in his speech welcomed Prof. Joko as the Assessor also introduced the FVM Dean Building on the Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The activity was then continued with the presentation of the results of follow-up recommendations from the previous accreditation. The Veterinary Medicine study program has received A accreditation in 2019 accreditation by IAAHEH. The presentation was delivered by the Study Program Coordinator, both Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and the Veterinary Education Study Program. After the presentation of the results of the follow-up recommendations, a response and input session were carried out by the assessors. Prof. Joko conveyed his response and provided input regarding the results achieved by the Veterinary Medicine Study Program which were responded to by the Unud FVM accreditation team. The activity ended with making an official report by the IAAHEH assessor.

 

 

Accreditation monitoring and evaluation activities are routine activities of the IAAHEH before the study program conducts recremediation. This activity is in accordance with Permendikbud No. 5 of 2020 concerning Accreditation of Study Programs and Higher Education in Article 37 paragraph 1 point G regarding the Duties and Authorities of LAM. Study programs that will carry out re-accreditation must receive monitoring and evaluation of the follow-up of previous accreditation recommendations. The frequency of monitoring and evaluation activities depends on the accreditation predicate previously obtained. The Veterinary Medicine Study Program of FVM Unud which received A accreditation in the previous accreditation, monitoring and evaluation was only carried out once face-to-face online a year before re-accreditation.
