Having Creative and Innovative Ideas, FTP Students Develop Sate Lilit Frozen
Udayana University Faculty of Agricultural Technology student, Ari Suartama and group members successfully passed the Student Entrepreneurial Program funding. The proposal with the title “Sate Lilit Frozen Agra” was made with the aim of increasing the shelf life of this typical Balinese satay lilit. They modified the sate lilit which initially could only last for one day but this can last even for months.
Interesting right? Sate lilit is very much in demand by the community, especially in Bali, so we intend to develop this food industry. The large number of satay lilit enthusiasts will certainly affect the time during production so with frozen-based sate lilit we can make it en masse and it is preserved, of course, while the taste is maintained without diminishing in the slightest. Apart from that, seeing the problems that exist in society, such as lack of time to make sate lilit, lack of flavor of spices, and lack of meat texture, they hope that their product can overcome these problems. Frozen sate lilit products can be consumed anytime and anywhere.
Ari Suartama as the representative said that frozen sate lilit was made to be more practical. Frozen sate lilit that can last for months is certainly very profitable during the delivery process. It is their great hope that their products will be known outside Bali and even abroad. This product has participated in various activities such as exhibitions and others. They also have partners who are very supportive of the success of their products. From the various testimonies given to visitors, all said it was VERY GOOD and some were even made as souvenirs to return home, he said.
