Faculty of Law UNUD holds Workshop on Writing Articles for International Journals with Scopus Reputation

Denpasar Team, FLUNUD.ac.id – FH UNUD on Monday (12/12/2022) held a Workshop on Writing International Journal Articles with Scopus Reputation taking place in the Video Conference Room FH UNUD Denpasar Campus. The activity began with the delivery of remarks by the chairman of the committee as well (I Gusti Ngurah Parikesit Widiatedja, SH, M.Hum., LLM., Ph.D.) followed by the delivery of remarks by Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs and Planning of the Faculty of Law UNUD (Dr. Desak Putu Dewi Kasih, SH., M.Hum.) which also opened the activity. 


The workshop presented 2 speakers, namely: Editor in Chief of the Udayana Law Masters Journal (Prof. Dr. Ni Ketut Supasti Dharmawan, SH, M.Hum., LLM.) Editor in Chief Sriwijaya Law Review (Dr. Hj. Annalisa Yahanan, SH, M.H.). The Udayana Law Masters Journal is a national journal that has been accredited by SINTA 2 while the Sriwijaya Law Review is the only journal in Indonesia indexed by Scopus Q3. 


The workshop activities were attended by the Chairperson of the UNUD FH Senate, Head of the Criminal Law Lab/Section, Head of the Lab/Procedural Law Section, Head of the Lab/Division of Constitutional Law, UPIKS Coordinator, Journal Managers of the UNUD FH (Journal of Udayana Law Masters, Udayana Journal of Law and Culture, Kertha Patrika, Acta Comitas, Kertha Semaya, Kerta Desa, Kertha Negara, Kertha Speech), Lecturers, and Doctoral Students of FH UNUD.


The purpose of holding a Scopus Reputable International Journal Article Writing Workshop is to increase understanding of good international journal writing. This is really needed by lecturers to fulfill research performance in each semester and as a graduation requirement for all students of Bachelor of Laws, Masters of Laws and Doctor of Laws, FH UNUD. In addition, the speakers explained material regarding procedures and processes for managing international journals, including maintaining and improving quality related to the accreditation of a journal.
