Enrich Tips Towards Excellent Accreditation, Postgraduate
Halu Oleo University (UHO) Postgraduate Program, Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, conducted a benchmarking comparative study visit to the Udayana University (Unud) Postgraduate Program. The visit took place offline at the Udayana University Postgraduate Building, on Monday (5 December 2022).
The event presented representatives from the UHO Postgraduate Program, namely Dr. Muh. Yani Balaka, SE., M.Sc. Agr (KoProdi S3 Economics), Dr. Busnawir M.Sc (KoProdi S2 Mathematics Education), Dr. Hj. Darmawati, S.Pd., M.Pd, Dr. Zulfiah Larisu, S.Sos, M.Sc. (KoProdi S2 Public Administration), DR. La Ode Restele, S.PD., M.SI (Coordinating Master of Law Study Program) and Agustina, SE., ME (Staff).
While the Postgraduate Program of Udayana University was present, namely Prof. Ir. Linawati, M.Eng.Sc., Ph.D (Chairman of the Postgraduate Program of Udayana University), Prof. Dr. I Wayan Budiasa, S.P., M.P (Deputy Director I), Dr. I Gusti Ayu Putri Kartika, SH., MH. (Deputy Director II). along with Koprodi and Kounit.
Starting the event, the Director of the Postgraduate Program of Udayana University gave a warm welcome to the presence of the UHO Postgraduate Program at the Postgraduate Program of Udayana University. UHO Postgraduate Representative Dr. Zulfiah said that his party was here with the aim of knowing what preparations or things need to be prepared to achieve superior accreditation such as Udayana University and carry out foreign cooperation.
Dr. Zulfiah also hopes that the comparative study visit that she is conducting can provide knowledge that can be used as evaluation material for the UHO Postgraduate. "We hope that the Unud Postgraduate can provide suggestions and input for improving the quality of educational institutions that we can bring home and realize at the UHO Postgraduate," he concluded.
Prof. Linawati said, "This is an honor for the UHO Postgraduate, because it has been chosen as a place for comparative studies for the UHO Postgraduate. To achieve Superior accreditation, careful preparation is needed before the end of the accreditation period. Unud started preparations 1.5 years earlier, in the midst of a covid pandemic and independent learning which caused many policies to change".
"Unud has an LP3M tasked with overseeing quality assurance in the academic field, decided to use the ISK mechanism and carry out standard monitoring (monev) at each faculty/postgraduate and at the study program level which refers to university standards" he said.
Prof. Budiasa (Deputy Director I) added "There are 4 points towards excellence: quality assurance system (minimum score 3), study program accreditation (minimum score 3.25), SPMI implementation (minimum score 3), publication (minimum score 3.25) ".
Prof. Dayu as the Coordinator of the Master of Environmental Science Study Program explained "tips for increasing foreign cooperation, postgraduates take a personal approach with lecturers graduating from abroad, colleagues from these lecturers who are abroad, are invited to jointly carry out various tri dharma of higher education. higher education, for example guest lectures, conducting joint research, publications and serving the international community".
"Postgraduate also has a double degree program, the Master of Environmental Science study program (PSMIL) with Yamaguchi University, PSMIL students are selected, and then have the opportunity to study at Yamaguchi University for a year, until they are declared graduates, then return to Indonesia to take the final exams, so The diplomas obtained are also double, from Yamaguchi University and Udayana University." he added
Meanwhile, Deputy Director II Dr. IGA Putri Kartika., revealed, as a state educational institution, Postgraduate welcomed the refreshment of cooperation. Postgraduate Unud continues to open itself to other institutions, to share information with all tertiary institutions in Indonesia.
