Cool, Unud FTP TPB Study Program students won 3rd place in the PKM-KC Field
Students of the
Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural
Technology, Udayana University won 3rd place in the 2022 Student Creativity Program
Competition at Udayana University in the field of PKM-KC. The students who won
the championship consisted of Irnando Ferdinand Franciscus Silaban, Ni Luh Gede
Enjelina Ayu Maheswari, Yunita Kusumaning, I Nyoman Teguh Yudha Kusuma, and I
Made Mickey Yogi Ajna Karuna.
The title of PKM-KC
proposed by the Team from TPB FTP Unud Study Program students was Plastic Mulch
Waste as an Economical Alternative to Oil-Based Fuel under the guidance of Dr.
I Putu Surya Wirawan, S.TP, M.Si. The expected output from the proposed idea will
later produce a new fuel derived from mulch plastic processing and scientific
publications in national journals.
Ni Luh Gede Enjelina Ayu
Maheswari as the representative of the Team reported that the handling of
plastic waste, especially mulch plastic waste, continues to be developed by
utilizing existing technology, one of which is by converting mulch plastic
waste into fuel oil which can be used as an alternative fuel in the future as
well as being one of the one of the best solutions in dealing with mulch
plastic waste which is widely used by farmers. Apart from that, she also
admitted that she was happy and proud of the achievements her team had
achieved, but she and the team also said that they would continue to practice
and process so that in the future they could produce a better Student
Creativity Program and be able to become winners at similar events and
competitions, she said.
