This theme was raised so that information and knowledge about Zoonoses, especially Rabies, could be conveyed to students as potential workers in the field of veterinary medicine, in Indonesia, especially Bali, cases of Rabies are still rife. This event was held for a day starting from 09.00 WITA to 11.15 WITA and guided by Rahma Seti Zuliyanda as the Master of Ceremony of the activity.

The public lecture with the theme of zoonoses began with a prayer led by the consumptive on duty, Ni Kadek Indah Swari. Then, the event continued with the singing of Indonesia Raya, led by Weni Fahdatul Ilhami as the conductor.

In this public lecture, the organizing committee invited a professional speaker experienced in handling rabies cases. Moreover, the speaker is part of the Bali Province Rabies Expert Team. He is Prof. Dr. drh. I Ketut Puja, M.Kes as an educator at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Udayana University, Director of the Udayana Hospital, and the Bali Provincial PMK Task Force Team. Prof. Dr. drh. I Ketut Puja, M.Kes, in presenting the material, was accompanied by an active student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Class of 2022, namely Rahmadini Hamdi Putri as the moderator who guided the delivery of the material. In general, the speaker said:

"Zoonosis is a contagious disease from animals to humans, while the transmission is divided into direct and indirect. An example of a zoonotic disease that spreads directly is bird flu, while an example of the indirect spread of a zoonotic disease is Rabies, namely by spreading it through dog bites and so on. Rabies itself is a zoonotic disease which spreads a lot in Bali. The role of veterinary students as prospective veterinarians in preventing the management of the spread of zoonotic diseases can be started from simple things such as keeping the environment clean and starting to build a waste bank."

When the discussion session started, several participants actively asked questions. The participants' enthusiasm to convey what they wanted to know indicated that they paid attention to the material presented by Prof. Dr. drh. I Ketut Puja, M.Kes properly and thoughtfully.

After the presentation of the material and the discussion session ended, the event continued with a quiz session guided by 2 committees who were active students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Batch 2022, namely Andre Restu Trinada and Gita Anggraeni. This quiz session presented questions related to the material presented by Prof. Dr. drh. I Ketut Puja, M. Kes previously.
