XVI NATIONAL STUDENT ART WEEK
The National Student Art Week (Peksiminas) XVI 2022 was officially opened on Monday (25/10/22) at Brawijaya University Malang organized by Kemendikbudristek with the theme Strengthening National Character Through Developing Potential Interests and Talents in the Field of Student Arts and Culture.
This activity is a continuous activity to provide a forum for students to improve the quality and practical abilities of students in the arts, both sound art, performing arts, literary arts, and fine arts. Through this activity, it is hoped that students will be able to improve and develop their artistic achievements and creations to enrich the nation's culture based on Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
In this event, one student of the Bachelor of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, namely Hans Budi Liemantara from the 2021 batch represented the Bali Contingent to compete in the Poster Design competition branch. Hans managed to get 3rd place after competing with contingent representatives from 123 universities in Indonesia.
“This Peksiminas is fun, especially since we have the opportunity to meet new friends from other provinces, where they are chosen people who have been trusted to represent their respective provinces. I got a lot of new experiences here, being able to get to know the culture of other provinces, togetherness, feeling the euphoria of offline competitions again after the pandemic," said Hans.
The implementation of the XVI Peksiminas was closed on Friday (10/28/22). The closing ceremony as well as the announcement of the winners of the competition was carried out by handing over certificates and giving Peksiminas medals to the winners.
