2 Professors of FTP Unud, Trusted Again by PT. Prodia OHI International Provides Expert Training In Food Safety Analysis
Professor of the Faculty
of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah
Kencana Putra, M.S. from the Food Technology Study Program and Prof. Ir. Nyoman
Semadi Antara, M.P. Ph.D. from the Agrioindustrial Technology Study Program,
FTP Unud, was again trusted to provide Expert Training in Food Safety Analysis
by PT. Prodia OHI International In order to improve the knowledge and skills of
employees of PT. Prodia OHI International (Headquarters and Branches).
Previously, these two
professors of FTP Unud also took on the role of resource persons in the Webinar
on Safe Food for Better Health organized by PT. International OHI Study
Program. Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah Kencana Putra, M.S gave a presentation related
to Food Safety in Processed Food Products, while Prof. Ir. Nyoman Semadi
Antara, M.P., Ph.D. give a presentation related to the latest issue related to healthy
food.
The training activity was
held on Friday, 29th July
2022 at The Aveda Butique Hotel Kuta. Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah Kencana Putra,
M.S. provide training and materials related to Foodborne Diseases and chemical
contamination and food additives in processed, ready-to-eat food, and home
industries, while Prof. Ir. Nyoman Semadi Antara, M.P. Ph.D. provide training
materials related to Species Detection and Identification analysis on Foods and
the development of types of processed food production in Indonesia.

Kencana Putra, M.S. in the presentation of the material, he also conveyed
related to Agricultural Chemical Compounds, Food Chemical Contaminants from
Livestock, natural toxins in food, Chemical Compounds that can be formed in the
Food Processing Process, Illegal Food Additives (BTP), Foodborne Disease, and
Heavy Metal Contamination and informed about their effects. for Health, the
maximum dose limit, and how to deal with it.
