Take a Role in a Safe Food Webinar for Better Health, Professor of FTP Unud Appointed as a Resource Person by Prodia OHI International

of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah Kencana Putra, M.S from the
Food Technology Study Program and Prof. Ir. Nyoman Semadi Antara, M.P., Ph.D.
from the Agroindustrial Technology Study Program became a resource person in
the Food Safety Webinar for Better Health organized by the International Prodia
Occupational Health Institute (OHI) on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022
which was held at the Prime Plaza Hotel as well as Hybdrid through Zoom
Meetings for the Bali area and Jakarta.
In this activity, the
Professor of FTP Unud took the role of a resource person. Prof. Dr. Ir. I
Nengah Kencana Putra, M.S gave a presentation related to Food Safety in
Processed Food Products, while Prof. Ir. Nyoman Semadi Antara, M.P., Ph.D. gave
a presentation related to the Latest Issues Related to Healthy Food and a
resource person from BBPOM Denpasar who explained the Regulations Related to
Processed Food Safety. A talkshow was also held at this activity which directly
presented the RnPD Manager of Prodia OHI, Mr. Dr. Mulyana, M.Si and the Owner
of Lean Lab, namely Jonatahan K. Halliyanto and the moderator from Prodia OHI,
Mr. Dr. dr. Liem Jen Fuk, M. KK, Sp. Ok.
One of the Professors of
FTP Unud, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah Kencana Putra, M.S in his presentation of the
material provided education related to food quality, food safety, safe food,
food hazards, and opportunities for food borne diseases. In addition, he also
invited all activity participants, especially SMEs, businesses in the food
sector and those who have close contact with the food production process to pay
attention to the 5 keys to food safety in the food processing process, such as
maintaining cleanliness, separating raw materials and cooked food, cooking
carefully, keep food at safe temperatures and use safe raw materials and water.
