148th GRADUATION EXERCISE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING, UDAYANA UNIVERSITY

Denpasar - Thursday, June 23, 2022, the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held a graduation exercise. The term graduation exercise is a release, but we will combine it with activities to increase the entrepreneurial spirit of alumni of the engineering faculty, which is currently the 148th period, on June 23, 2022 and the number of students graduating in this period is 70 people. The goal is to provide understanding and provision as well as motivation to alumni after graduating to get jobs according to their fields, increasing potential both in continuing education or entrepreneurship which of course is in accordance with the profession, talents, and interests of the alumni, so that later the graduates will be useful. and proud for the nation and state. The deans, vice deans, senate and secretaries of the academic senate of the Faculty of Engineering were also present at the event, coordinators of Study Programs, IKAYANA secretariat of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, parents of the best graduate representatives to give impressions and messages from graduates. This event was attended by all Study Programs in the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.




Mr. I Ketut Suardita as the sub-coordinator for education and collaboration as well as a public relations performance at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University explained "There is no special theme in this 148th graduation exercise, but we focus on activities with seminars, motivation or lectures from alumni who have the success of the 2008 Mechanical Engineering study program alumni, of course he has been successful in the industry or business world, so we want our graduates to be motivated by their entrepreneurial spirit, that is the real theme of our activity, namely increasing the entrepreneurial spirit of graduates." The dean himself, Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST, Ph.D. advised in his remarks at the graduation exercise to students graduating from the Faculty of Engineering to be able to compete and succeed in the industrial world and to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit so that graduates of the Faculty of Engineering can compete internationally.





In terms of graduation, students are very good, with an average of fulfilling the study period requirements, and the average GPA of students is above 3.5. while in each graduation period there are ups and downs, this is due to the graduation period in February and June most of the students are preparing their final assignments. So it is not surprising that in August there was a significant increase in the number of student graduations compared to the previous period. The Faculty of Engineering hopes that alumni can use their knowledge both in the industrial world and at the next level. There is also great hope for the alumni to be able to be proud and carry the name of the alma mater, namely the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University in the national and international arena.
