Community Service Master Program in Dry Land Agriculture “Basic Principles of Application of AB Mix in Home Hydroponics and Plants in Pots”
Masters Study Program in Dry Land Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University on Friday, 27 May 2022, carried out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the form of Community Service with the title "'Basic Principles of Application of AB Mix in Home Hydroponics and Plants in Pots" carried out online via Webex and Youtube, as well as offline are located in Room 3.10 Postgraduate Building of Udayana University, Jl. P.B. Sudirman Denpasar.
This Community Service event presented resource person Djadmiko Pambudi, S.P., Bachelor of Agriculture from IPB (1995), a Hydroponics Consultant and AB Mix Formulator (2015-present), and I Kadek Surya Adi Putra, S.P. M.P. He is an alumnus of the Master of Dry Land Agriculture at Udayana University, Founder Surya_Hydroponik, Founder Plagro.Id, teaching staff at SMK N 1 Evening, Director of Technopark SMK Agriculture N 1 Evening, and ambassador for millennial farmers from the ministry of agriculture in 2021
This Community Service is guided by Dr. Ir. Gede Wijana, M.S. The event began with remarks from the Koprodi Master of Dry Land Agriculture, Dr. Ir. Ni Nyoman Ari Mayadewi, M.P. In his brief speech, Koprodi hoped that this kind of activity could become a routine activity carried out by the Master of Dry Land Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Unud, so that it could increase the horizons of knowledge and experience for participants from various walks of life. The Community Service Program was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gede Ustriyana, M.M.
I Kadek Surya Adi Putra, S.P. M.P. in his presentation conveyed the importance of hydroponic cultivation in the midst of the onslaught of land use change that occurred. Hydroponics can be carried out anywhere with very limited land conditions but is able to meet the need for various vegetables and fruits because the nutrients provided are all measurable, so that plants are able to produce according to their potential. Meanwhile, Djadmiko Pambudi, S.P., in his presentation explained thoroughly about the needs of plants for macro and micro nutrients packaged in AB Mix, which can not only be applied to hydroponic systems, but can also be applied to Tabulampot and Soil Planting Media.
This Community Service was attended by 83 participants from students, lecturers, farmers and hydroponic practitioners, agricultural extension workers, the Department of Agriculture, entrepreneurs, and housewives from various regions in Indonesia, including Bali, Flores, Malang, Cimahi, Medan Kuningan. (West Java), Aceh, and Central Kalimantan. (AMd)
